Create a reusable AI assistant with Echo

Repeating the same setup at the start of every chat is slow and easy to get wrong. If you regularly ask an AI to follow the same role, tone, or process, Yorikai lets you save that setup as an Echo.

An Echo is a reusable assistant configuration. It gives a recurring kind of conversation a clear starting point without asking you to paste the same instructions again.

Define the job once

Create an Echo around a job you return to, such as reviewing a draft, planning a lesson, explaining technical material, or helping with a consistent research process. Give it a clear name and write instructions that describe how it should respond.

Focused instructions work better than a long collection of unrelated rules. A writing coach and a research helper have different jobs, so they should usually be separate Echoes.

Add helpful conversation starters

Starter prompts make the first step obvious. They can show the kinds of requests an Echo is designed to handle and help you begin without wondering how to phrase the same opening message each time.

You can use starters for common tasks while still writing a different request whenever the situation calls for it. They guide the beginning of a chat; they do not limit the whole conversation.

Start recurring work with the right setup

When you open an Echo, its saved role and instructions are ready for the new conversation. This makes repeated workflows more consistent and reduces setup work, especially when the same type of task appears often.

Echo does not replace model choice. The capabilities available in a chat still depend on the selected supported model. Echo saves the way you want the assistant to work, while Yorikai continues to provide the conversation, model access, and workspace around it.

Use one when the setup is worth keeping. For a one-off question, a normal chat remains the simpler choice.
