Yorikai lets you choose from OpenRouter-accessible models without rebuilding your workflow every time you want a different option.
The model can change while the workspace stays familiar. Your conversations, files, saved material, and the controls around them remain in one place.
Pick a model for the task
There is no single best model for every request. A short summary, a detailed analysis, and a generated image can call for different capabilities. Yorikai makes model choice part of the conversation instead of sending you to a separate product for each task.
Model availability and supported inputs or outputs can vary. The model picker helps you choose from the options currently available through OpenRouter, so you can match the tool to the work in front of you.
Keep one way of working
Switching models should not mean relearning the rest of the product. The same chat structure stays available when you move between supported models. You can continue using Yorikai features such as files, explicit context, saved conversations, and search without reorganizing the task around a provider website.
This is useful when you want to compare approaches, continue a project with a different model, or use a specialist capability for one part of a larger piece of work.
Use your own OpenRouter API key
If you already have an OpenRouter account, you can connect your own OpenRouter API key. This is often called bring your own key (BYOK). It lets eligible users access supported models through their own OpenRouter account while continuing to use the Yorikai workspace.
Using your own key is optional, not a requirement for understanding the product. The main idea remains simple: choose the model that fits the task and keep your work in one consistent place.
