This Privacy Policy explains how Yorikai handles information when you use our website, AI conversations, chat workspace, public sharing features, billing flows, and support channels. It is intended to describe our current practices in clear language, not to replace any rights you may have under applicable law.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to Yorikai, including:

  • Account information such as name, email address, password credentials, profile image, language, appearance preferences, and connected account details.
  • Chat workspace content such as prompts, model responses, uploaded files, generated images, audio or video, shared conversation links, favorites, annotations, and related metadata needed to operate the product.
  • Billing and plan information such as checkout status, subscription identifiers, entitlement status, invoices, credits, and usage summaries.
  • Communications you send to us, including contact form submissions, feedback messages, support requests, screenshots, or screen recordings you choose to attach.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as device and browser details, IP-derived region, pages viewed, feature interactions, diagnostics, cookie consent choices, and security logs.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, secure, personalize, and improve Yorikai.
  • Save and sync chat history, files, preferences, subscriptions, usage limits, and account settings.
  • Process payments, confirm plan access, prevent abuse, and enforce acceptable use rules.
  • Respond to support, contact, and feedback requests.
  • Debug reliability issues, measure product performance, and understand how public pages and core workflows are used.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Yorikai, our users, and the public.

AI Providers And User Content

Yorikai connects to model providers such as Google and OpenRouter to generate responses. When you send a message, the prompt, selected context, files, and relevant conversation history may be sent to the provider required to fulfill that request. Provider processing is governed by the provider's own terms and privacy practices.

Before an image or video generation request is sent to a model provider, Yorikai sends the user-supplied text prompt and a pseudonymous request identifier to Creem's Moderation API for safety screening. Yorikai does not intentionally include your account ID, email address, end-user IP address, attachment files, or full conversation history in that moderation request. Creem's processing is governed by its own terms and privacy practices. Pure text chat and audio requests are not sent to Creem for this screening.

We do not sell chat prompts, model responses, uploaded files, API keys, or generated outputs. We use this content to provide the service, maintain conversation history, troubleshoot issues, support user-requested sharing, and improve product reliability.

Cookies And Analytics

Yorikai uses necessary cookies for authentication, security, language, theme, and cookie consent preferences. With your consent, we may use analytics cookies such as Google Analytics 4 on marketing, pricing, contact, authentication, and other public pages.

Analytics helps us understand traffic sources, page views, and lightweight conversion events such as sign-up, login, and checkout starts. We do not send chat prompts, model responses, attachments, API keys, or other chat content to Google Analytics. You can change or withdraw analytics consent through Cookie Settings, after which Yorikai stops sending analytics events and attempts to clear related analytics cookies.

Sharing And Service Providers

We share information only when needed to operate Yorikai or when required by law. This may include infrastructure providers, database and storage services, analytics providers used with consent, authentication services, payment processors, content-safety services, email delivery services, AI model providers, and support tooling.

We may also disclose information if necessary to comply with legal process, enforce our terms, investigate abuse or security incidents, prevent fraud, or protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information.

Data Retention And Security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Yorikai, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and support legitimate business operations. Retention periods may vary by data type. For example, account and chat data may remain while your account is active, while logs and analytics data may be retained for shorter operational periods.

When you remove a saved API key, Yorikai disconnects it from your account and stops future use immediately. Encrypted copies that remain temporarily in routine backups are not used to make model requests and expire as those backups complete their normal retention cycle.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a strong password and protect your account credentials.

Your Choices And Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You can update many account settings in the app, manage cookies through Cookie Settings, unsubscribe from optional communications, and request account deletion where available.

Some information may need to be retained when required for security, legal compliance, billing records, dispute resolution, or fraud prevention.

Children

Yorikai is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Yorikai, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Yorikai changes. When we make material updates, we will revise the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
